A new study by the British government has revealed that the smartest thing found in 52% of the homes across the country is the electric meter.
Researchers at Sheffield University devised several tests and questions designed specifically to ascertain the intelligence levels of the average person living in Britain.
The nation was divided. 48% of the population tested had a high or normal IQ whereas 52% scored a poor below average IQ level. Some were incredibly low. A Mr T. Robinson in Luton had an intelligence level lower than the smart meter’s plug.
Interestingly the figures reflect those numbers seen in the EU referendum held in 2016.
Professor of Sociology at Sheffield University Dr R. Solestothelotofthem said; “It would appear that the 52% who voted for Brexit are less intelligent than the little box which sits in the corner recording the gas and electric usage.”
Mr Farage of the Brexit party said, “I don’t accept the fact that some so-called expert or fake news scientist thinks that I or the leave voters are stupid.”
Flaying his arms around Farage added, “The figures are too close to make a real judgement one way or another. We need to have another test. There simply isn’t a large enough gap to make that kind of assumption.”
“It’s a sad state of affairs when a country’s society has evolved to a point that an electric meter is smarter than most of the general public. We are evolving backwards, as a global species we appear to be dumbing down and becoming more insular, more divided, we are creating more borders and riffs between us. It’s sad.” Dr R. Solestothelotofthem told ShizNGiggles.
(Translation: We are evolving backwards, as a global species we appear to be dumbing down and becoming more insular, more divided, we are creating more borders and riffs between us. It’s sad. = We are getting thicker. It’s sad.
Translated for the general British Daily Mail reader and those with lower intelligence than a smart meter.)
